68 Barracuda Formula S sway bar set up???

My 68 Barracuda Formula S is missing the front sway bar. I assume these are the holes in the K frame and this bracket is part of it ? What pieces do I need to put one back on the car? I also notice no sway bar tabs on the lower control arms ? Is there a different set up used on older A bodies? Anybody got one For Sale ?

So yes those holes are for the sway bar mounts and yes the piece looks like what should be there. Third Yes, you should have tabs on your lower control arms. Now that ALL being said... Are you a stickler for wanting to stay factory correct stock? The reason I ask is that MOST/MANY aftermarket sway bar kits come WITH TABS as well as fresh versions of those brackets. I believe the pictures of aftermarket bars I've seen are BOLT on maybe some are weld on.

Factory was welded... There are folks on here that sell lower control arms with tabs refurbished (or sometimes not) from time to time. Also have seen original factory sway bars on FB Marketplace/Craigslist/eBay as well as here (although the bars are rarer on here for some reason).

Like I said Lower control arms (w tabs) seem to come up fairly often here (I guess about once every other month or so)...

If you want to put the factory bar back on, I stock the weld on tabs that look factory only a little thicker steel.
