Attempted theft

...or burn out on the carcass till it's just meat flaps on the pavement.
I might be sick and twisted for thinking it but dam that's one of the most awesome things I have seen on here, but I also enjoy movies like evil dead. MOPAROFFICIAL, You're a crazy dude, and I approve lol.

My friend almost had his race car and trailer stolen on Friday afternoon. He lives in a remote area with a long driveway and works from home. He saw a truck come down the driveway and start backing up toward his trailer. Thinking it was a contractor he called earlier in the week he walked out of the house and the truck took off. He was pretty shaken by the incident. It's that time of year folks, the thieves are out there and daylight does not stop them
Too bad he didn't take a shotgun with him!

State rep, not federal. Still socialist. Still advocated to defund the police, while crime skyrockets in Seattle.

Not my pony, not my rodeo.
If they pass the proposed "capital gains tax" (income tax), My wife and I are out of here. Maybe I should start a thread for FABO friendly states to move to......

yeah a GPS tracker on car and trailer would be a big help. Stopping the theft isn't good enough, they need to be caught. Cops should leave trailers around filled with ... cops. Let them pull it to where ever they pull it and when they open it.... bunch of cops come storming out :D
Someone told me you can leave one of your old cell phones in the trailer or car. That they have chips that can be tracked easily. Super cheap everyone has one.

I hope it's not Jayapal. She's the one with no mask on, and cowering behind a pew on January 6th. She is socialist stupid, and can't have a public press conference.
Jayapal is house of representatives, lol. She really only reps 1 county (queen county)

I really feel for you guys that have to leave your home state because of stupid polititions and the crazy laws and taxes they force on people. It's just sad.

Lived 30 years in my home. Taxes $800 a year , once it reached $6000 and my water bill $2000 I bowed out. Cost of living outpaced my salary. I heard they went up another $600 last year too. Now renting and waiting for wife to be 100% vested in her job and my daughter to finish college before my NC. move happens. Had to cash in my 401K 12 years ago when my son had a serious brain injury from a dirt bike accident .Silver lining is I still have both my Darts even though they live outside now. And most importantly my son.

Depends. How many Democrats did you vote for?

As some of you know, I am about to move from Colorado, been here 58 years, to a small town in southern Oregon. Bought our house up there a few months back, we had to stay in CO for a few months so I would be vested in my PERA at work.
So the new place has been sitting empty for a while, but nothing had been touched.
So like two weeks ago, my bro and I towed my Dart up and got it settled in. Spent two days there to do some business in town ( new place is several miles out of town). And at some time when we were in town, someone drove on to the property and stole a concrete lion statue out of the front yard. I'm like really? The place was fine for three months, and someone steals from the yard while we're there.

ZERO. I worked for a living. Retired from Boeing after 24 years. Never took a dime of government money. Now they've doubled my taxes in 5 years, and want us to be a "Welcoming City." If you get a job, I'll welcome you, but I'm not paying for your tiny village and paying you $15 an hour for part time work. I'm steamed. Now the state is coming after our 2nd Amendment rights. I will not comply.

Can I recommend.... Arkansas?

Always ,always always park another vehicle in front of your trailer. Run a chain thru the wheels.

Unless you need the cash/insurance money prevention is always better in the long run. Tracking, insurance and that after the fact crap is B.S. save yourself the aggravation and make it theft proof. For a trailer in the driveway I would put anchor loops in the concrete. Why? because the whole trailer can be pulled onto a flatbed trailer. A GPS can be found with a sniffer, quickly remover and tossed in the bushes. A garage door can easily be opened unless bolted shut. Prevention is the best remedy.
Where do I obtain a GPS Sniffer?
Been tracked for 10+ yrs now by the druggies.

I'll look into Arkansas. I like the hill country there. Thank You. Paul.
Feel free to PM me, we have most all of our family in Arkansas and are in the process of retirement there from ND. We have several pieces of property there as well. It is stunning scenery, four seasons, very mild winters and super tax friendly.

One unit is less than $45.00 the other is nearly $350.00
Do you get what you pay for ?
None of them work for crap.
The only real way to stop being tracked is to install a GPS blocker and they are limited.
You CAN find reliable equipment if you go to a Spy Store, but there are so few nowadays.
Most of them will let you rent the equipment.
