The height difference I measure is roughly 0.10 inch taller on the 270791 (I'm not measuring an NOS clip on mine though). The 270791 clip is beveled to knife blade from car to outer surface. The original clip on my car is beveled from both sides giving a pointed edge in center. The thickness on the clip surfaces is also different - roughly 0.060 thicker for the original clip vs. the 270791 clip.

I'm just saying they are different, not that the 270791 clip can't be made to work or won't work as is. I'm just saying I would prefer a more dimensionally correct reproduction. I haven't received Chained 360's part so I can't comment on how it compares.
