I see a lot good going on with the valve springs, looks like the guid. There are several flat tappet hydraulic cams that call for dual valve springs. I imagine that you'll be going through it to some degree anyway, but if it turns out to be a solid lifter cam, you're going to have to find out what it is to know where to set your valve lash at.
Yea I will go through the whole thing. Depending on how rhe short block looks i may not have to do much to it tho. I bought it as a spare. Im really wanting to start building a race car soon this engine may be a good candidate
