I'm going to replace my factory 24;1 box for a flaming river 16;1 . Bad lil Red gave me a great deal on the flaming river . 70 duster with tti's and poly lock mounts . should be fAIRLY straight forward i hope .

so nobody put one of these in a Duster with a small block and T.T.I. Headers ?

I have a flaming river 16:1 manual steering box in my ‘74 Duster. 340, spool mounts with poly inserts and Doug’s D453 headers. I didn’t have any interference issues with it, the flaming river box isn’t exactly the same dimensions as the originals but it wasn’t a big deal. Some places have a little less clearance than with a factory box, some a little more.

The TTI’s aren’t that different near the steering box. The biscuit style mounts change things some compared to that spool mounts, but you can shim the biscuit style mounts if it’s necessary.
