There are cedar chip packets as well. Heard they work. fresh cab if i recall is good for about 4 months. In a race trailer, would need 6 pouches. Or more.

I made a bucket trap and check it regularily. Here in winter they get caught and freeze. In summer, an inch of water and they drown.
I hate them too.

REGULAR OLD MOUSE AND RAT TRAPS , with peanut butter as bait , always put a short piece of a toothpick jammed in the trigger before adding the peanut butter, will soak up the taste and give them something to pull on , ---works everytime , and instant death , way more humane than sticky traps or poison .
