Anyone put a Grant Classic steering wheel into an early A ?

The Grant adapter is a pot metal POS that will strip out the 3 bolts for the horn . And worst mine slid down the splined joint too far and when the column nut gets tightened the horn ring will contact the blinker switch and the horn will sound sometimes when turning. I did not know the about Forever Sharp adapter I would give that a go. In addition most of the repro blinker switches are cheap crap, while you are in there with this mess I would put a good quality NOS switch and save a lot of grief.
