I'm hoping someone can help.
I'm finally putting my frame up restoration back together. I purchased a set of transmission cooling lines .
I'm thinking I received the incorrect set.
Slantsix.
Can someone snap a photo of the routing of the lines?
Thankyou

Slantsix.
I guess that would help .
Thanks

Yup, they're bent totally different....and IIRC they may have still used those inline filters that year. I know the '63's still had them. Sorry I can't help further, all mine are V8's these days.

I bent these from straight tubing years ago, before anyone reproduced slant six trans cooler lines. They aren't exact, but are close. This is a 63; I left off the external filter. 64s didn't have an external filter.

And yes, they are quite different from V8 trans cooler lines, as they need to be routed up and behind the exhaust manifold.

Thankyou !
I didn't take a picture of those at demo time.

I did this on my car and the classic industries/inline tube ones worked well. They fit with minimal tweaking and look factory. You have to disconnect the exhaust to get them in if the engine /trans is in the car and you need to lift the car about 2 feet off the ground to insert the lines. much easier on a lift but doable on the ground. if you want more pics lmk

i have a 64 with slant/904

Classic Industries sent lines for my 63 slant 6. Close but didn't fit. They did send my money back.

Jumping on this thread with a question. I replaced my pan and filter on my 63 Dart, and now want to replace the transmission cooler lines and eliminate the no longer needed inline external filter. The slant six engine is if from a 68-75 car but don't think that matters when discussing these lines. Which one of these sets do I need on Classic Industries? The first one seems to have the similar bends my original three piece set has, so leaning that one. Thanks!

MA3450S - 1964-68 A-Body Slant 6 With 904 Transmission Cooler Lines Stainless Steel Material

MA3453M - 1969-75 A-Body Slant 6 With 904 Transmission Cooler Lines Original Material

The MA3450S looks like the correct set for the '64-6 IMO.

Thanks. Agree. Going from three lines to two lines it's not real clear which set to use on my 63. Not interested in trying to bend my own like 65 Cuda 340 did.

Yes, easier to buy them pre-bent. I only bent my own because back in 91 no one was making slant six trans cooler lines.
