I really don’t get the appeal for these “Rat Rods”. To me its as practical as a 40 HP Johnson on at 720 John Deere tractor! But to each their own.
 
Just a small town cruising car. Not much else. Not made for the big road.
When your "involved" in the car scene it is nice to be "seen". This gives that to you in the car world. Well, you do have to look down to see it.
This is mostly about the culture!

I saw one not long ago that had

used shaker screen cloth for floor boards :lol:. I made a living around that stuff for the better part of 40 years :lol:. One thing about it though, light a small fire under the floor boards and BBQ ON! :rofl:

Agree, but the body and engine could be made very kick *** w/ some work.
