This whole idea got started when I met Joe Schubeck in Vegas. He mentioned his new mountain monster motor was 5" wider than a Chrysler Race Hemi. I got to thinking. (Isn't that where all our troubles begin? Lol.) My rolling body old drag Cuda is 5" wider than my Duster. And they got Hemi's to fit in A-bodies? So after measuring and corresponding with Joe? It looked doable. Joe then made me an offer I couldn't refuse.
Sure as hell. The same problems of putting a Hemi in an A-body arose as putting this monster in an E-body. VERY tight fit between the shock towers. But working the problem like those of the early days of the Hemi? Got it to fit.
