Has anyone seen the type bolt at the far right of this pic? Original or something else? The other two look right for 70-71 340s. The odd one has a 3/4” head. Wondering if it might be from a 273 motor?

Everyone i have ever seen has the round holes on the early ones. But you never know what you going to find.

I've seen both round hole and slotted with the big hex head. They'll both deform or twist off if you give them too much torque too!

Thanks, I guess now it’s time to transition to WIW. What’s a fair price to ask for an aluminum adaptor and bolt? Saw some surprisingly high completed auctions on eBay ($150s) but that seems a little ridiculous.

I've seen them sell for around $50 give or take a bit depending on condition and if they come with the gaskets or not.

But I have also seen them go for double that

Easiest way to find out, punch in "adapter" in the search box and select "mechanical parts for sale"

That will tell you what they went for
