Thoughts on this barracuda????

The repo parts may be a little more expensive than for an A-body but almost everything is available. Not as many donor cars around. The labor of you’re paying someone is the same. I would bet a numbers matching type original restoration on an A or E body would be similar in cost if starting conditions were same. The big difference is the buy in on the car. A rusty complete 70-71 E body will bring $10k or more depending on options and drivetrain. Unless it is a rare or desirable combo you will never recoup costs if you’re paying for the resto.
