Are Speedmaster elec fuel pumps any good ??

I had a paxton 150 gph that i really liked, when it was working. The trouble was, if it sat for a few weeks it would lose prime, and i had to crack the inlet line to get prime back.
I replaced it with a trick flow 140gph with a regulator, very happy with it, somewhere around $120 for both.
My very favorite is a mallory 250 gerotor, but it is a LOT of money now. Gerotor is MUCH preferred to vane style... but none of them are cheap.
As for the speedmaster, it will probably work.... for a while. How LONG it will work is the gamble. How do you do in vegas?
Long way around of saying...i would spend a little more money.

You can find the Mallory 250 pump fairly reasonable used if you look. I just paid a buck fifty for one. I’ll put a 65 dollar kit in it. That’s not bad for that pump.
