That is fitting better because it’s not a 46RH. You have there a 42RH or A500. It is smaller like a 904 trans.
You will need to know that if you need to order any parts for it.
What makes you say it isn’t a 46rh? I pulled the transmission out of a 93 ram 1500 2wd with a 318 in it. Truck only ahead 125k on it so doubt trans had been swapped. Wouldn’t the 318 have the 46rh?
