I run solid mounts on my engine, with a poly transmission mount....I've been running it like this since the early 2000's. The only down side is you will have a few bolts try to wiggle loose every now and then. I just make it part of my yearly racing season prep to check header bolts, starter bolts (those are the only ones on my car that vibrate loose).
