Hi all,

Finally got off my butt and got Hagerty insurance. Another members dad's car accident in his 67 dart finally got me off the pot.

But they specifically said insurance would not pay out if racing.

Bandamere mega mopar is comming up and I wanted to race my stock 67 convertible, didn't even think about insurance till the agent said not covered.

What do you all do for insurance, liability, prop damage, comprehensive uninsured motorist while racing your street car?

nothing. You sign a waiver to race for the same reason. Insurance is not for racing, but rather to protect you while driving on the street.. and a little heads up... if you are found partially at fault on the street even while just cruising the insurance pays out less. With insurance you are betting you will wreck. They are betting you won’t.

You boys are not using your imagination. Tow it home! Sprinkle car parts around. Do a couple of burnouts to imitate skid marks. In Cali you can only shoot an intruder in your house. So, you shoot him outside and drag his body inside.
After a burglary in Georgia, the police officer told me the same thing. Can’t imagine how that would go with lawyers and investigators though.

Even if you can lie with a perfect straight, poker face, if there is anything out of place, those law dogs are gonna hunt.

“Detect bullshit” is right 90+% of the time, but I have seen service members under investigation (NCIS, Pentagon, you name it) stick with, and successfully lie as if they going to their grave with the lie like the captain of a sinking ship-because so many careers hung in the balance of their lie.

Any evidence to the contrary while attempting to deceive in a good lawyer’s (or claims adjuster {but do they do that for small potatoes anymore?}) domain will trump your claim.
