Stop in for a cup of coffee

So switching gears slightly. Doing a military history of the family and finding more and stuff coming from the National Archives and the VA. The count so far

paternal grandfather- WW2(drafted at 14 German Luffwaffe) & Korea (US 75th Rangers) and then US Army Reserves.
Maternal Grandfather- US army Guard- Armor in the 1969s
Paternal Great Grand father- WW1(German Wehrmacht)
Paternal Great Uncle- WW2 ( Germany. Wehrmacht drafted at 17)
Maternal great Grandfather- WW2 US navy, served thru the war in the turret on the USS Colorado, missed Pearl Harbor by 12 hours, they’d left port the night before.

Wife’s side
Father in Law- US Army, ( Persian Gulf, Honduras )
Grandfather- US Navy, (WW2, Guadalcanal )

then there’s

me and my three brothers(2 National Guard and 2 AD US Marines)

Still digging deeper too. Great Great Great Grandfather supposedly was in the Union Army towards the end of the Civil War. And mom thinks that the grandfather that this shotgun came from was in WW1 as well.

just kind of fascinating really. These two are of my two grandfather’s.
