Does anyone have or have a lead on a pair of vintage 1960's Edelbrock 6-fin valve covers pictured below for an LA? I know a FABO member has the pictured Edelbrocks for sale on the forum, but his mailbox is full with no reply available on the ad.

Please message me if you have these valve covers for sale or a lead. Thanks.

The Edelbrocks are still available new- unless there's some subtle difference I'm not catching?

The modern Edelbrocks look totally different to me. The photo I posted is of a vintage set of Edelbrocks for reference. Moderns have seven shorter/thinner fins vs. 6, smaller font/script, and the breather holes are much closer to the center with less area cleared of fins to name just two noticeable differences. If mine weren't a period-correct build, the modern Edelbrock would work, but it would be like running a modern Edelbrock performer intake trying to pass it off as an LD4B.

I believe I have a set of the Cal Customs unmolested. I will see if I can get you some pictures.

Thanks. Please message me with photos/details if you find them.

Like these...
I found those in my search on FABO too, but they have one breather slug knocked out and some grinding for intake clearance. Not a bad set, but I'd prefer an unmolested set for the asking price.

Sorry,

These are what I have. Cast Aluminum but they don't have a Calcustom label.
Let me know if you are interested.

Just got a Google notification of a new listing on ebay and nabbed this pair for $100 shipped. Advertised as "vintage chrome" but obviously aluminum. They also have the proper casting markings for mid/late 60s. Likely going wrinkle-black with polished fins since it's a 273 Commando build, or I'll put a full polish on them after reviewing mock-up.

Still interested in a pair of vintage 6-fin Edelbrocks.
