It's an eerie feeling running big iron in conditions like that. I got sent from our granite quarry to the river mining plant as a temporary vacation replacement. Our river is dry for all but maybe a few weeks in winter. I get there and check in with the plant manager to find out which iron I get to play on :steering:. Our competitor was across the river and down stream a few miles, but were mining upstream from us on another lease, more rock less sand. "You're going to the river on the big loader to load the Euc haul trucks to the primary crusher. If you see Coast Rock's (competitor) iron hauling *** back to their plant in the middle of the day. You get your *** out of that river immediately!". Their haul road was actually on our property on the other side of the river :lol:.
