I wasn't the one who installed it so it is wrench tight. I notice rtv around that area so I think that is where my 727 leak is coming from and while I am at it, I figured I put the proper speedo gear in it to.
Mine leaked too. It is likely the speedo gear pinion seal. I got a new o-ring for the speedo housing & smaller black seal for the speedo pinion from ebay. Fixed my problem.
