Nice looking car Steve. Is that a Canadian car? In the 70's I had a friend who had a 318 4 speed in North Bay with that color. Not sure what happened to it, but he was hard on that car.

This car was owned by a guy in Tweed Ontario he bought it new and had it for 40 years and only put 21,000 miles on it.

Very cool, Tweed is only a little over an hour from me.
So did the OP install the "wrong" stripe? Wondering why a stripe was added with only 20K miles.
I like it and would leave it, altho I do understand wanting to change to correct year. To me it's not worth the risk.
Beautiful!

The car is a clone but the car was originally a /6 car with no stripe and whomever cloned it did an awesome job, The cars exterior was repainted when they did a rotissory resto on the car but the door jams, under the hood and in the trunk are all original paint they did a great job as it is hard to tell the drivetrain is all date code correct 340 - 727 with an 8-3/4" rear with a sure grip and 3.91 gear ..... Whomever did the resto lost focus when it came to striping the car thou and put what they liked on it so it is what it is .... I'll live with it for now can't wait to drive it
