68 Barracuda headliner replacement ???

Another little tip that just came to mind... There are 2 small metal wires that tether the rear most bow so the headliner doesn't rip away from the anchor teeth under rear window gasket (umbrella headliner is stretched rear to front and left and right). Anyway... They need to end up straight so they look like breast darts in a dress. You will need to stretch the headliner left and right to make it tight, remove wrinkles. So, Go ahead and angle those little wire hooks inward a inch or so from what their other end points in the roof measures so they end up about straight. assembly line workers did the same chore over and over again so they learned how to get it right by practice/trail and error. For us, going back to redo, reposition little hook/holes in a bow sleeve sux. One good thing is, Those 2 little tether wires are the only thing that needs fairly close measurements from center of the headliner. I suppose one could cut slits in this headliner bow sleeve to allow movement but my original headliner didn't have more than a small hole, wire hook poked though. When I did the first one I could not pull the wrinkles from between those two hooks.
