Stop in for a cup of coffee

Evening all.
Claudia and I went to the funeral for the Capt of the Seacor Power. Was tough. The good thing though is that one of the guys I had no word on was actually one of the survivers. On one hand you are relieved that he is safe but then you greave for the other guys families. They are telling me that at least one of the remaining guys that should have been found in the Engine room has not been found and that they have been through the space.

Lot more to it than that I can see. Wouldn't blame you if you would stay. Do you get a visa and can only stay so long?
My current Visa expires on 5/5. But I was just issued a Temporary Residency Card in Viet Nam. It is good for three years. Can come and go as I please. Basically the same as a three year Visa .

Good for you.
Right now, working on a Visa for her to come to America. Had to pay a Visa agent, and they want lots of supporting documents. Pics of us together over the past 3 years. Copies of plane tickets, hotel reciepts, etc. I have to write a 5 page timeline of our relationship, including pics. Even then, they say maybe 6 months to process, and receive Visa...

Best of luck with the VISA application Mitch.

Had a half cup of coffee two days ago....first taste in a month since my dental surgery. I think I have gone through the caffeine withdrawal already...or maybe going through it now. Getting some mild headaches that last all day.

Now getting ready to teach an English lesson...Two youngsters..
The young man is 12, and his sister is 6. Duy Tam the boy, has a fair understanding of English, but I don't think the schools teach all that well here. He knows some grammar, and reading, and writing, but his speach is not the best. I have him reading from the book of John in the Bible, so he can improve his word recognition, and pronunciation. I have some Bibles here, written in both the Viet language and English on opposite pages. I'm impressed, he is doing well. I also take time each session to work with the girl, on basic English...

So wife is outta town for work and as a result there is no bacon grease police in the house. Long day on range today at three gun match. Biscuits in oven, thin cut pork, fried egg and some cheese, a bit of tinfoil and I got sammies for all day! I am posting pix to remind Mitch about bacon grease! Hah!
