Drive shaft help

Until 1965, A-bodies had the "Detroit" ball & trunnion front U-joint bolted to a fixed flange on the automatic transmission. I don't know about the manual transmissions and your overdrive might add a kink. My 1965 C-body has a sliding-yoke output, but still cable-shift input, making it a 1 year-only housing. If yours needs the B&T and you can't source one (one on ebay currently, but pricey), there are posts on customizing a driveshaft using modern parts, with a sliding shaft at the front.
