Do my sign anything until you have very closely inspected the whole car. My brother was in a similar situation when he had his Capri painted. There was definitely orange peel.
It was a hassle but the insurance company finally relented. Would be nice if you have pre crash pics especially close ups.! My 70 has the same color and stripe.
Don’t take no for an answer and keeping working up the chain of command until you get satisfactory results. Keep us posted.
