My mom was a corporal in the CAP at the end of WW II.
She would have been about 12.
I have her patches and insignia with some other militaria I've collected over the years.
(Back when you could actually get surplus military equipment at the Army/Navy surplus stores)
I have quite the collection of Vietnam and late Korea era patches and insignia and an "Army Air Corps" pilot's cap.
