i never liked the hollanders
buncha pretentious protestants

as far as im concerned holland ceased to exist in 1817 when Willem den eerste became king, but i personally would have preferred to see Bataafs Brabant remain independent

Hahaha ouwe brabander!

That's better. I think its better for me to drink a few beers tough.

I've found that dollar for dollar, trips to the restroom, calorie content, and buzz factor all point to strong red wine as a clear winner.

A nice cab at about 14% and you're almost in the cheap liquor category for alcohol content, with many less carbs consumed and way less trips to the can than beer.

I'm diabetic and I find my glucose actually goes down if I'm having several glasses in an evening.

I can make the same thing happen with beer, but I have to be doing moderate labor, like working on the car.

With the wine, it works just sitting on the couch.

Plus, those wines (cab, merlot, malbec, pino nior, etc) also contain amino acids and anti-oxidants both of which a re VERY good for you.
