Thanks guys, wasn't sure if there was a specific reason why I couldnt(possible clamping force/psi issues).
Yes to getting goùged with spiral gear clamps lol. I've donated my share of flesh to those!

No reason why you cant. The advantage of the Oetiker clamp is that once installed it shouldn't come loose.

Sure, why not. Just don't over tighten and cut the hose. EFI hose clamp would be even better IMO.

Just be careful if the clamp is in a bad place that you have to reach past. I have never been cut up by that style of clamp. But I sure have with a spiral gear clamp.
