Who powder coats rims in NewEngland?

Personally I would not powder coat wheels.

My personal experience....
Had 4 wheels for a dodge grand caravan powder coated. ( Bought used wheels, looked better in photos then in person) had them sandblasted and powder coated silver by a local company.

1. The powder coat was applied to the inside of the center bore, making it impossible to get them on the hubs.
2. Within one year they had chips on them where the tire store clamped the cone on the wheel to balance the tires
3. The plastic coat has started to do what could be best described as shrink around the center.

Nos you could say that it wasapoor application which it might be but...

My expectation was that powder coat was tougher than paint and that has not proved to bd that case.

If it was paint it would have been relitivally easy to touch up the chips etc.
