  • Wish I still lived up that way. I was born and raised 16 miles from Mason-Dixie dragway!!
Although I like the Georgia weather better, lol.

I'll be there just to hang out and enjoy a day outside. I'm so over the mask thing right now. Lets get back to having fun.

Oldest son can't make it. His little brother and I might steal his 65 B'cuda and hang out for the day.

BTW - thanks again to 1965fish for the deal on the flex plate. Appreciate it Ken!

Well I'm be there but NO Hemi Barracuda. I drove it to work yesterday afternoon to change the oil and noticed a sound from the rear. I have replaced the rear gears from 3:91 to 3:55's to try and make it easier to drive, a while ago but haven't real driven it a lot since then. Well it looks like my 30 year old Green Bearings didn't like being slide hammered out. Both are making noise now and I can't take a chance on the 150 mile trip. I don't want to make thing worse. Moser Engineering will have the bearing to me on Monday or Tuesday. So It looks like I'll drive the good old Magnum and just hang out. Hope To Meet Some Folks from here.

You have some really cool stuff 1965fish!!! I remember your Barracuda from many years ago!

Biggest thing now is finding gas with 40% of stations out of gas

There is a Sheetz gas station about a qtr of a mile from the track. I would think given the remoteness of the area, it wouldn't be a problem. I just called to ask how they have been with all this mess and how likely to have gas on Sunday. Dude told me "all I can say is good luck". Said they are getting trucks almost every other day, but as other areas run dry, they are getting busier by the day. Said he's not one to panic over crap, but if you will need gas to get home you might not want to chance it, as they have run out a couple of times in the last week.

Thanks.
I miss racing my Barracuda. It's all back to the original drivetrain now.
I hope to have my Valiant Signet racing next year.

Did anyone take a picture of the '71 superbee that was for sale?

It was red with a black vinyl top, it was on a trailer in the swap meet section with rotted quarters.

Kicking myself for not taking a picture.

So, who all went? I`d love to see a pic posted here of the big sign at the entrance to the place. At least western Maryland ain`t full commi! LOL
I was on the hill parked beside the 59 sport fury, beautiful car . Lot of bad *** cars there.

I was there. Did not take Jake's car since he was in SC for the weekend. My 13 yr old son, Josh, and I took my 05 Ram. It was cheaper to enter the show than it would have been to pay for 2 admissions.
Did not take a pic of the 71 Bee for sale, but it was a bucket seat, console, auto car.
I'm the red truck.

I was there but unfortunately did not win.
Had a fun time and got to see some friends and nice cars.

I was there, kicked it red second rd in Pro. Was a decent turn out. Was surprised they were able to get the race finished with the rain looming in around the area.

I was there but didn't race.
My son raced the Dakota and went red in the second round also.
My 17 year old daughter was there working the timing tower.I got a pick of her sitting in my brothers new ride.He was there to finish his license runs.

It was good to see the Joint Venture car back out racing.
I have been a fan of that car for many years.
