Stop in for a drink.

Was a busy day in the yard today. Went and collected the remaining two dozen rocks I needed and finished the front side of the wall and added the last solar light. It’s 30’ from the light on the far left to the front edge of the wall on the right. I now only have the 30’ on the other side left to do.

Then I helped my wife plant the annuals in the front bed. 100 Vinca flower plants we started from seed 6 weeks ago. They will fill in nicely in front of the rhododendrons, pachysandra and forget-me-not perennials. If you look up on the Sheppard’s hook the birdhouse is hung on, you can see the chickadee coming in to bring her babies in the house their next meal.

Then the lawn guys came by and did the mowing and edging. You know the hard work you have been doing to get the lawn lush and full is paying off when the edging along the sidewalk looks like a hedgerow.

Lots of work and I’m tired...in a good way. Time for some cold beer and enjoy looking at the progress. Cheers!
