R3 block info

I recently pick up a r3 block part number p4876671 which is a 9.20 deck,48 degree,four bolt 340 main siamese.This is new a still in the pallet from mopar.I don't know a lot about these so looking for any information would be great.Are 48 degree w9 heads still available or are there something else out there?What is the max stroke crank this block can take with the short deck?

Ok, I ain’t making no promises but...somewhere around here I have the paper work for the R3 block. The questions are: where the hell is it, and will I ever be able to find it.

I agree, cam blanks will be a B-I-itch. You can contact Cam Motion because the two times I need a core they had them. If they don’t have it, they might be able to tell you where to get them.

And I highly second the suggestion you contact Brett Miller. His heads and intake kick maximum ***. He may be able to hook you up better than a dime store Hooker on blow.

I’ll look and see if I can find that stuff on the R block.

Edit: once my brain kicked in I remembered Cam Motion can make you a core. It ain’t cheap. They used to make custom cores anyway.
