Stop in for a cup of coffee

I know by the time we put ours on the market we didn't want to have anything to do in the new house, sick of painting, fixing etc. It is time consuming but worth it in the end, sweat equity
I have a friend who has a remodeling business for years. He has a crew of 10. He is going to oversee the new house remodel. Going to put in all new flooring, carpet and hardwood, paint inside, gut the kitchen, new appliances, kitchen cabinets, island, new plantation shutters, new screen doors, new soaker tub, demo the partition wall in the detached garage, paint the floor, add electrical plugs and lights, wi-fi stero system for the house, built in shelving in the unfinished part of the basement, flooring in the finished part of the basement, and a few other things I'm not thinking of right now. Oh landscaping and concrete work. A month or so of work and $$. We decided to do it all up front and not piece meal it out over several years. We got our new place 75$ under the market price. The seller didn't want to use a relator and she decided the price...oh well. We're taking that 75k and a little more and putting it into the house. We're going to get it done, and enjoy all of our years of hard work and saving for the big one.
