R3 block info

Have to build a 727 first dynos are few in WA it is a standard super victor port injection manifold I cut the valley & water end off with a slitting grinder then cleaned it up in the mill.
When i had the heads apart had the end water holes milled round & tapped to 1" BSP i am over the water going everywhere every time i take the manifold off
Siamese block used -8 in the heads for cooling & blow the water in at the front of the lower block through -16 you can probably get away with -6 as this engine takes forever to get to temp even with the pump turned off probably due to the large chunks of aluminium bolted to the top plus the mass of iron in the block.
Kent Ritter has Arrow timing covers for sale
Also you cannot use the inner bolt holes on the Victor heads unless they have changed them recently as they are drilled up from the bottom like a hemi & don't line up with the inner holes in the block use a W9 or similar if you want to use the inner bolts.
