Picked up this sweet 73 Scamp this weekend. 48,000 original miles. I needed this car like I need a hole in the head. This makes 4 A Body's at the house, Starting to think its a sickness, couldn't resist.
Found it on Offer Up months ago. The seller was going back and forth on if he wanted to sell it or not.
Sentimental car that his wife drove. I had been talking to him on the phone for 4 months, and he finally let it go yesterday. Its a 6 cylinder car, wish it had a V8, but that's the way it goes. All original paint and interior.
Plans at the moment are to clean it up, and change the fluids. After that, we shall see.
Thanks for looking.

A shot in the dark, but there was a lady her in her 70es 16 years ago that lived in a retirement type housing here in northeast Arkansas that had this same car, color, int, engine and color, I would talk to her when I visited a friend a few doors away.
Wow , I forgot all about her.

Nice ride there Johnny !!

Put some rallys on it and drive it

I do have a couple big bolt sets of rallyes. One set is 15".
Also have a couple sets of steelies, one being police wheels. Plymouth Division dog dishes would work nicely.
Decisions. :)

and there are always poor members on here looking for used slanties, so you'd be helping a member out

it would just be selfish not to put a V8 in it

Nice Scamp! It’s not often you get to slip into a 40+yr old car that looks as good as that without spending a mint on it.

Great score!
I would drive it as is with the exception of installing Rallye wheels.
I never did like the full wheel covers that the car has on it now, those just HAVE to go!

Cool car!! Kinda funny, I have a guy wanting me to buy a 73 Scamp very low mileage survivor, I still need to look at it.....don’t need it but it’s a nice car and price is right, I always liked the 73 Scamp

I LOVE finding them in that condition.

@66340SEDAN

Is that a factory black with blue interior car?

You don't see that every day.

I see there are covers on but also see the headrests.

That's a peach. I would be hard pressed to do anything more than make it mechanically sound and enjoy it the way it is, at least for a while..

That's pretty much the plan, other than changing the wheels and tires.
