Which fan are you a "fan" of?

I have the Hayden 2947 on mine. It was the only one thin enough to work for me. There is almost no clearance to get the water pump bolts in. I had to use studs loctited into the water pump and nuts because I couldn’t get bolts in it. It works great, but have a whole box of nuts for the ones you will drop and an ample supply of swear words....

CFR Performance - it's all about character

Best electric fans I've seen, with stone of the best cfm ratings. They test all theirs, currently have 4 of their 7" fans rated at 1500cfm, and not to noisy

I don’t remember anything about the truck I pulled my parts from. I know it was a v8 with ac. It has been a few years and I am doing good to remember what I did yesterday anymore....

The fan, clutch and shroud look very similar to the 70s versions.

I USE THE STOCK 340 BIG *** CLUTCH FAN have yet to overheat and that is sitting for hours in 90 degree heat in city traffic with a stock rad and shroud , now that i have a big 3 core champion rad can't get the car over 180 deg , stock rad ran at 190
Still prefer the stock copper brass rad used it for over 20 years never a problem , i run distilled water and 50% antifreeze radiator is still clean inside
doubt the new alu rad will last that long . i did find some copper brass replacement rads but they were over $600.00 and supply limited

Stock curled tip 7 blade fan from my 383 parts stash, installed it on the 340 in the Dart and running it hard gets her to 180. Highway it's at 175, toot'n town 190 MAX.

I run the same mix in my radiator it's a factory replacement radiator I'm looking to lose the flex plan for evidently now I realize his Hazard issues but I was trying to squeeze a few more horsepower out of it with the clutch fan and I'm trying to figure out the best one to pick up as far as keeping my cooling as the car idles about 180 185 here in Tampa maybe 190 at a red light but also the most functional for hp non loss

THAT IS THE FAN I'VE BEEN USING on my 340 and 426stroker car has never gone over 190 , i still think it is the best fan made for the car . Tried a flex fan once car would overheat in traffic all the time

Can those be located? Are they re popped?

Just a stock '68/'69 7 blade fan for the 383 HP and probably others..

I have seen two different diameters of the 7 blade one is about 17.5 and the other is about 19 inches. The 19 won’t work in the a body radiator / shroud. Too big.

I have done it all!
Pusher, puller this and that! Seems I always overthought it!

Went back to full stock with all “New correct” pieces. Did install a high flow pump and high flow stat! Never been happier!

First thing I threw in the garbage off this Dart..View attachment 1715745465
Mine was an old one I had laying around Twisted that motor over Seven Grand it idles at 18185 gets up to 190 if I'm at a long red light that's here in the Tampa Bay area I'm not saying they are good. definitely want to upgrade. I was looking at some point and Summit but I'm not exactly sure what I'm looking for I'm getting so many different search results it's stupid
