That's what I did and after messing with everything, they started working. Thing was, even when not working, I checked continuity from flasher connector through the switch and the switch seemed fine left or right. So even if it had some resistance or a bad bulb, it should have worked. Just would not have flashed at the right speed. After I got it working with flasher jumped, I had it working perfect with one of the old flashers I had. I did prove the other one I tried is junk.
