Hood scoop cracking prevention ?
I took a different approach with my six-pack hood scoop. Using the sheet metal that I cut out of the hood in the shape of an X with a fabricated bracket to bolt the center of the scoop to the sub frame of the hood in order to help stabilize scoop from flexing in the wind. It was mounted with rivets (rivets were removed after the the scoop was fully bonded) and fiberglass putty and fiberglas matte over the top outside edges. It's been 5 years now and it's still holding up.
