Another Blueprint Engine Delay

Agree on the volume investment needed, but if the major components for a Mopar build are not readily available, that puts a stop on any assembly process like mine. New orders only compound the problem until there is a massive backlog, canceled orders, and vastly reduced future orders. The parts you've developed for the BPE brand have no doubt been high quality, so why not develop your own Mopar heads & cams to ensure the same & better quality and performance? In time, the lower Mopar engine volume builds might even be augmented by people ordering your parts directly from you instead of going to Comp or Edelbrock because of the availability & performance. A new aspect of the BPE enterprise to handle major component purchases by end users/builders?

Because no one will buy them. You can’t make enough of them to make any kind of profit, and if the block isn’t 900 bucks the Chrysler guys won’t even have a sniff at it. And if they do, they’ll ***** because it isn’t finished machined for that price.

It’s a losing proposition.
