All the new aluminum heads ,Ford Chevy,mopar bust the bolts off in the head , I think it’s the different expansion rates of the steel and aluminum.
GM is a better generalization. Its galvanic corrosion. Been taught that for 20 years when dealing with aluminum body panels and steel sub-structures. There are special washers that insulate aluminum panels from ferrous metals. Cant happen very well with engine components. Doesn't work well with bodies either.
