1965 MMP's Barracuda Hemi swap! The Ever Changing Build

Glad you found something to keep your interest instead of just dropping the whole project. I think the G3 swap is going to cost you a lot of time and re-work, but better that than seeing it listed for sale in another year. Get'er done!

Honestly, only thing holding me back from doing something similar is funds. I loved my Challenger and would love to drop a similar motor in my Duster. Hard not to daydream about an Eagle with a 6.4 cam, I don't even need a full 6.4.
Sorry about that my build only seems stagnant cause the car has been in body shop jail for sooo long. once its home we'll be off to the races lickidy-split... Regardless of the motor I run with..
I also think the the fitment will be tough but once the car is back that will be the first thing worked out. I think the trans swap will be just alittle massaging to the forward tunnel. The the 545RFE is just a tad larger than the 46RE just behind the bell... BUT Are the same length and have the same mounting location SO! I may not even have to build a new trans mount!
As for the Motor I have found a few ozzy's who have been fitting the 6.4 and its tight and used stock K-members. Now I'm pretty sure I can shoe horn it in.. I'm on the hunt for a set of the larger jeep Log manifolds that are stream lined and surprisingly flow well'ish for a log manifold. I'm gonna wait to order anything before I get that motor in first and know what I'm working with... We'll see tho...

The first one is the 46RE that has been fitted to the car. The one be low is the 545RFE that will be mated to the hemi
These are the same length and have the mounting location in the on them is the same! 20161017_184636.jpg 00f0f_8gLD9xa2GRCz_0CI0t2_1200x900.jpg

*65 Valiant Ozzy style. Used the stock K-member in this build
My biggest worry is the fitment of the fender wells on either side of the valve covers at the moment
