No, it didn't feel bad....I had a 408 stroker with 3:91 & A833 that felt much lower.

Starter gear ratio would be 13.48.

Comparing to an A833 with 2.66 1st and 3.91’s is 10.40 starting ratio.

Did it have tall rear tires?

How were the shifting qualities?
