...or sometimes life puts you in the same situation again to see if you're still a dumbass
Unless you believe in generational curses, that wouldn't apply here
It was my boy who flipped the 4 wheeler, not me

I hope he’s ok. I’ve been there, done that. Unfortunately at my age I’m not as flexible as I once was.....

Thanks

Yeah, he was fine
He said he felt it tipping and he bailed before it got too bad

I've broken a handful of bones myself on dirtbikes...it's been a while since I've been out on one

Ahh, I was so lucky to experience gravity at 40+MPH on a 2007 YZ250, over the handlebars......
Resulting in 100+ stitches, a broken neck and back. While it sounds bad, I’m up and about walking.........
A lesson learned, the hard way. 4 days in ICU, a full 24 hours before stabilizing me to have surgery....... Infection on top of rips (lip to chin) ear torn off....
Yup, learn from my mistakes.
Oh, plus my employer of 20 years laid me off.....

Yes..... unfortunately.....
I was riding with my 24 year old son who managed to get the “authorities” to me for the helicopter transport to the hospital.... Nassau County Medical Center is a **** hole to say the least. Upon arrival I was immediately placed in radiology for MRI scans.... I was conscious for the most part, the radiologist thought I was a burn victim, although in reality I had road rash and was covered in dirt........
Kinda bad when u can hear the EMT’s, police, fire department, nurses, doctors and radiologists say, “This guys bad”
I’m not one to preach but, it was made clear to me that it wasn’t my “time”, access denied at the gates. I lost my partner years ago to an Aortic Dissection and had plenty to say to He Himself but wasn’t given the opportunity to do so.
