obviously you've never ridden in a 340 6 pack there is no bog it's like hitting the nitrous switch when the outboards kick in there's really nothing like it for stock induction. And also the boss 351 has a considerably larger solid lift camshaft than the 340 if you were to put a comparable cam in the 340 it probably would have beat it both in torque and horsepower
