What rear suspension for bracket racing.
If you are runnng leaf springs do you guys install a 1/2 leaf on the right side like we did 50 years ago?
What about using anti-squat in a leaf rear? Fromw what I remember from my leaf rear stock car stuff you need to control that body lift you get on the rear of carby lowering the front spring eye below the centerline of the axle.... just wondering.
when i ran super stock springs on my Duster iused the solid aluminum spring eye bushings. Other than that, ran them bone stock the way Ma Mopar suggested.
Tried clamps, snubber, yada, yada…
Worked best for me left alone.
Car was 1.34/1.36 60 foot everywhere at 3350 pounds running 9’s.
Not bragging, but i try and get my stuff repeatable, because i am a very competetive person and like win lights.
Over the years, my stuff has generally been better than the driver…lol
If i had thought i could get that car more consistent another way, i would have done it.
Remember one day running 10.01 5 times in a row with it. A body stuff inherently are good race cars. Doesnt take a genius to make them work well
