68 Dart Project.

Damn nice job! I’ve kind of been lax here for the last couple years, wish I had caught your thread early on, it may have helped inspire me. I started my 68 technically in 13, but in earnest in 14. I also moved mid process. I am still going forward, but slower than I hoped, & here you are- done.
Granted, this was the 1st time I’ve done this, & had only basic hand tools when I started. I told myself it was not going to be a project that got started then left, like so many I’ve seen.
Mines out of paint, I’m fiddling with interior, wiring, gas tank/ lines & all that stuff now. I planned engine, but had someone else build it as it isn’t stock, & I have none of those tools or skills, & I want to drive it sometime soon (and have it stay together).
I will be going back through your thread for ideas, inspiration, & maybe pointers.
Congratulations, thanks, good luck, and ENJOY, you earned it!

Thanks! Keep at your project. Even on hectic days, try to get a few minutes in on it. It keeps you thinking, active, planning and moving forward. If there’s a will there’s a way to get your project done, and lots of guys here will help and throw you ideas as needed.
As for my project, it’s pretty much done. I had to go back to the power valves and drop the jetting on the primaries for street driving, sure cleaned the idle up good. And the new Tig showed up, next will be to fab up a nice shroud. Good luck!
