We signed the papers yesterday!

Congratulations!!!
Enjoy-some of us look on with a little envy at that, (let's see, bigger than our 3 bdrm house-that has NO garage...)and it's a 2 story? or am I just thinking it is?

Thanks. It was built as a 2 story. I plan on adding a loft for a theater room in the next year or two.

Also, this happened.

Very nice! Are you keeping all solar power for personal use or does it "generate" enough to sell to utility company?
we are "net metered", at I think 94% of our usage. So, in theory, our power bill should drop like a rock in the summer, and possibly even in the winter. I'd also like to add a battery system eventually, to support us during a power outage

It took a bit of work, and a lot of help from my step son, but I got the 80" Sharp mounted in the shop. I have a PC for streaming, an Onkyo TX -NR 626 for sound, and my old Boston Accoustics CR7's mounted till I can get an amp and structure built for the EAW speakers. Then the Boston will join the CR6's on the sides, or rear. Just the two sounds impressive is such a large, open, reflective area.

Now to clean up and organize the shop.

I haven’t seen an update in a while. Pretty cool setup.

I have a broken down boom box with lots of sawdust in the controls...paid $2.00 for it at a yard sale 30 years ago.

I think its still under warranty...

It took me a while to get the gumption to actually put it up there, LOL!

Very nice! Jealous as heck!
Best part of it all?

...the TV was free, the receiver, Good Will, $35.00, and speakers going up were also free. The old Bostons were my front speakers in my home theater over 20 years ago.

Nothing wrong with using leftovers...

Nice man cave. That thing is huge. Looks great....so do those MoPars.
Can't imagine what one like it would cost to build these days with all of the material shortages going on.
I had a 48x36x18 ((3)10x8 garage doors and a 12x13 RV door) built back in spring of 2017.. by the summer of 2018 it was packed full. 8 ft longer would have been nice.
