Update: The engine runs great, no vibration at high or low speeds. The beefy flywheel feels great with the 4 spd. I think that turned out to be a lucky score. And the machine shop deservs credit for a good drill job
 
Update: 10 years later and about 30K on the motor... still runs great. Same engine, same flywheel and same clutch, all good. And I often drive this car like I stole it

I checked and many of those naysayers haven't checked into this forum in just as many years..
