how 'special' were they in terms of availability. Like are they hard to find models? Like in rare stamps and other collectibles estimated values can be wrong because they don't come to market often and no current sales are there to compare to.
They’re nothing special outside of sentimentality. They can be found all day long for at or below what they went for at auction. I mean, it’s a double edged sword, good and bad from it.
Sometimes, older models are better models. Built better, more desirable....
sometimes, but not in this case. I talked to one of the neighbors who works for the guy, he said he goes to the auctions to actually lose money on the tractors. Tax write offs.... which I believe because the dude came up afterwards and said if we wanted them, he’d work us a deal after he lists them.
