Has anyone used the AMD non-oe style quarter skins. They are in the discontinued sale pretty cheap. Left side only I think. What’s the difference between oe and non oe?

Exactly what doug said. Its a skin that doesn't go into the edges where the spot welds are. Merely just a face skin

Its basically just the side of the car, does not go to the factory seams. Full quarters are a plus because its less work to fit and finish. Also, if you have rust in the qtr to roof seam it will take care of that. Otherwise you have to hand for patch for that area. Same goes for the trunk gutters. The gutters are available for some cars but you have to have good metal where they attach.
I was thinking of getting a pair of skins just to use for patch panels. With their blowout pricing its cheaper than buying the patch panels.

Basically I got rot behind the wheel and pitting/ pinholes around the wheel lip. Quarter to roof seems ok except for whatever filler was in there is falling out. Was a vinyl top. I took it off.

I just purchased both quarter skins from AMD can't beat the price, if you can weld and you don't need the full quarter it's the way to go.

That looks pretty good. Yea the price is cheap , I might just order before they’re gone. Thanks!

I bought the 69 dart skins just to have extra, to good of a deal. My 69 has little bit of rust but it still has original paint haven’t examined to deeply.

You inspired me. I just ordered a pair of skins for a 71 swinger I picked up last year. Got both skins shipped for less than the price of one full quarter w/o shipping.
